My Belief in the Resurrection of Jesus is Rational!

Historical Facts

1. Jesus died by crucifixion.
2. Disciples were convinced that Jesus rose from the dead.
3. Paul became a Christian.
4. James became a Christian.
5. The tomb was empty. 

Josh Wheaton, a Christian college student attends a class on philosophy. When his professor tells all his students to  sign a declaration that "God is dead" to get a passing grade, Josh speaks up and objects.  

The ongoing debate continues and finally Josh finds out why the professor insists on the nonexistent of God. 

During the final debate Josh asks the professor, "Why do you hate God?",  the professor explodes in rage and says, "Because he took everything away from me!!" 

"God's Not Dead: A Light in Darkness" follows Reverend Dave as he is released from prison to a flurry of controversy. 

The growing social unrest leads to Dave's church being burned down, a fire with tragic results. 

Devastated, Dave is launched on a painful spiritual journey as he fights against the university trying to keep him from rebuilding his church, as his belief that "God is good all the time" is put to the test.
